Why it matters who owns the bus

Direct operator vs. national booking marketplace

Most sites ranking for "charter bus Fremont" do not own a single vehicle. They resell operators like us and add a margin. Here is what changes when you skip that layer.

Fremont FAQ

Answers from the people who dispatch the buses

How much does a charter bus cost in Fremont?

A half-day (5-hour) 24-35 passenger minibus in Fremont typically runs $550–$850 including driver. A 56-passenger motorcoach is quoted per itinerary because deadhead from our Hayward yard and return time drive the price. You get an itemized quote from our dispatch team, not a marketplace estimate.

Do you run employee shuttles to the Tesla Fremont Factory and Warm Springs?

Yes. We operate recurring campus and shift shuttles along the I-880 and Fremont Blvd corridor, including Warm Springs/South Fremont BART connections, on a fixed schedule with a live GPS tracking link for your site team.

Which airports do you serve from Fremont?

San Jose (SJC, about 17 road miles), Oakland (OAK, about 20 miles) and San Francisco (SFO, about 30 miles). We track the flight and stage the coach so the group is not standing at the curb.

Are you a broker or the actual bus company?

We are the operator. Umbrella Global Bus owns the coaches, employs the drivers and runs its own dispatch and shop from South San Francisco and Hayward under CPUC TCP 0037963 and USDOT 3126263. There is no subcontractor and no marketplace margin on top of the operator rate.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for a Fremont venue or employer?

Yes. Because the vehicles are ours, we issue the COI directly, usually the same business day, naming your venue, school district or company as certificate holder.

Do you have a wheelchair-accessible bus for a large Fremont event?

Yes. All three of our 69-passenger double-deckers carry a wheelchair lift and a restroom, and one of the 56-passenger coaches and one minibus are lift-equipped as well. Tell dispatch how many wheelchair positions you need so we assign the right unit.
